Posted October 02, 2018 06:01:10A couple is selling their condo in the historic, one-time Manhattan Beach mansion that was once home to a legendary movie star.

Amber and Ryan Smith are planning to sell their $1.3 million condo on East 16th Street in Brooklyn after nearly 20 years in the family business.

The couple, who live in the East Village, purchased the mansion for $1,500,000 in 2016.

They spent $100,000 on renovations and now have a one-bedroom and two-bedroom unit.

The three-bedroom units have been repurposed into two more units.

Ryan Smith says the house is one of the most expensive properties in the city.

“The house is absolutely beautiful,” he said.

“It’s the most beautiful house in the world.

You look out the window and you see it from the street.

It’s amazing.

It really does reflect a true sense of what New York is.”

The couple’s daughter, Caitlin, said the new condo was built in 2007, with the help of local developer Tom Clements.

“They are the first real-estate developers that have done this,” she said.

Clements is an executive vice president with the city of New York, which owns the mansion.

“It’s like the New York of the past,” he added.

“You have this kind of history of people living there, and this house is a piece of history.”

The city of Brooklyn has recently signed on to renovate the house, and Clements plans to donate the property to the borough.
