Los Angeles – Galleria has secured its place at the top of the Serie A table as the two teams meet at Los Angeles Arena in the first official match of the 2018/19 season.
Los Angeles beat Palermo 2-1 at the start of the first leg of the tie on Sunday, a 1-0 win which saw the Giallorossi score a stunning late equaliser.
Los Angelenos took the lead in the 32nd minute when Giorgio Rossi’s cross found the feet of Giorgi Castellani, who then converted the penalty.
Los Goliats doubled their lead just two minutes later when Diego Caceres fired home a header from a free-kick.
The match ended 1-1 after the match ended.
Los Argentinos goalkeeper Manuel Campos had a poor performance in front of goal, saving five shots and failing to make a save on the opening goal of the second leg.
The match was a resounding success for the Gialls, who started the season by drawing 0-0 with Parma.
Los Argentinos will play a tough home match against Milan, while Los Giorgas have a match against Udinese on the horizon.
“We were the better team on the day and we deserved it.
It was a fantastic night,” said Los Groras head coach Marco Borini.
La Gorte delle Gattiere will be playing its first match in front a sold-out crowd at the Arena di Montevideo.
Galleria Condors will be in action against Palerms next Sunday.
