A Palestinian family has found out the worst.
A Palestinian woman and her husband who had lived at a luxury beach resort in the northern city of Ashkelon have died, and their son has been charged with murder.
The couple had been vacationing with relatives in the seaside resort of Bali, the Israeli daily Haaretz reported.
The body of the 29-year-old Palestinian woman was found on Saturday night, the Jerusalem Post said, citing Palestinian officials.
It said she was identified by her husband as Muhammad al-Rasheed.
The Israeli daily also reported that the Israeli police are searching for two other Palestinians who were reportedly staying at the resort, which is popular with Israelis and tourists.
Israel has been battling the Palestinian Islamist militant group Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip.
Hamas has denied the claim, saying it was “false” to report the death of its leaders in Gaza.
